The demand for eco-management, including new methods
to reduce water pollution, is clearly
on the increase in the PRC.
Since 1996, the National People's Congress has placed
prevention of water pollution high on its national agenda.
By 2005, every municipal
city must establish sewage treatment facilities
to boost the scale of treatment to 40-50 million
cubic metres per day and raise the sewage treatment
rate from 23.7% to 45%. By 2010, 90% of the PRC cities shall
be equipped with pipelines for water outlets in an effort
to increase the treatment scale to 70-80 million cubic
metres per day, and raise the sewage treatment rate
to 60%.
Together with the PRC's entry into the World Trade Organization
and the hosting of the 2008 Olympics, the opportunities that
lie ahead for us are tremendous.

We can also tap on the
influx of international capital flowing into the wastewater treatment
industry. We're growing as the market grows, and that means
expanding our geographical reach to all other parts of
the PRC.
And of course, our R&D team, which is still expanding,
will continue to help us to improve on our technology
and find innovative ways to manage waste and wastewater.
As one of the "first movers" in the Chinese
waste and wastewater treatment industry, we are familiar
with the business requirements and the needs of the
market. We are well positioned to capture a growing
share of this vast market.
